Earlier this week, we reported the fact that the forthcoming fight between Bradley Saunders and Dave Ryan for the Commonwealth title had been postponed.

The reason being that Saunders had undergone surgery on some ruptured tendons and ligaments in his right hand.

It transpires that the operation could just have saved Saunders career with Saunders telling the media,

‘I tried sparring this week and I just couldn’t. I had an x-ray and the doctor said ‘if you don’t get this operated on you’ll be lucky to box again after this next fight.?

?I’m looking to have a long, successful career and I’m confident it’ll just be this one fight that it sets me back by.’

Let?s hope Bradley is a quick healer and that the fight with Dave Ryan can be re-scheduled soon.
