The October fight Kell Brook has with Vyacheslav Senchenko has massive implications.

It became public knowledge today that if Brook can beat the man who knocked Ricky Hatton into permanent retirement, a date with greatness awaits.

After seeing three fights against Devon Alexander fall foul of injuries, Brook now knows that he will be installed as the mandatory challenger to the IBF welterweight champion if Alexander successfully defends against Shawn Porter in November.

Speaking about the news, Brook remarked to the media,

‘It has been a very difficult time for me but I know when I do finally get the chance I will be ready.?

‘But first up I have got to beat the guy who beat Ricky Hatton.’

‘I know I can’t afford to make any mistakes and I have got to be at my best to beat him.?

Can Brook dispatch the Ukrainian and finally get that crack at Alexander?

I reckon so, how about you?
