With George Groves having claimed his place in the World Boxing Super Series Final, albeit subject to his shoulder injury allowing him to box, we now await to see who will win the other semi-final.

The second semi-final takes place this Saturday, at the Arena Nurnberger, Nuremberg, Germany.

It sees the Liverpool fighter Callum Smith go up against Juergen Braejmer.

Smith goes in to the contest with a professional record that reads 23-0 with 17 of those wins coming by knockout, whereas Braehmer has a record that reads 49-3 with 35 wins coming by way of stoppage.

But, whilst the record books show Braehmer as the more experienced fighter, Smith believes the German is on the slide and ready for the taking.

Smith is basing his theory on the fact that Braehmer had problems when he fought Nathan Cleverly, back in 2016, and Smith is going to set a fast pace, remarking to the media ahead of the bout,

?He?s very clever, he knows what he?s doing, he?s been in with everyone, and I?ve got to expect the best version of him. He was winning the early rounds, but it was no secret he didn?t like the pace it was getting fought at.?

The fight, if you don?t have a ticket, can be watched on ITV Box office.

We?re taking Smith to emerge the victor, how about you?
