At the Copper Box Arena, Stratford, on Saturday evening, on an excellent Frank Warren promotion, welterweight Bradley Skeete was back in action.
Skeete, entering the ring with an unbeaten record that read 16-0, was defending his WBA Intercontinental welterweight title against the experienced Tobia Guiseppe Loriga, who entered the ring with a record that read 27-4-2.
Skeete showed that he could be a fighter that goes all the way to the top, in time, by dominating his opponent by using his far superior boxing skills.
The welterweight hung on to his title with a 7th round TKO and now his management must decide how quickly to push their charge on as Skeete needs to start moving up in class and through the ranks.
Nevertheless, the boxer can feel well pleased with his nights work.
