This weekend there is a huge promotion at the O2 Arena, in London.

Amongst the fighters hoping to make it a memorable night by obtaining a world title is Lee Selby.

The Welsh featherweight will be taking on the unbeaten Russian, Evgeny Gradovich for the IBF version of the world title.

For Selby it will be a tough challenge but one the fighter from Barry will be relishing.

As his date with destiny draws nearer Selby has spoken about becoming the Welsh Ali as opposed to being the Welsh Mayweather, we?ll let Lee explain,

?I grew up watching Ali and tried to box like him.

?Maybe I could be the Welsh Ali. That?d be more like it.?

Selby inherited the Welsh Mayweather tag after sparring with the legend that is Floyd Mayweather Junior, but ahead of the fight he has admitted that the toughness of the task could see Selby awarded another title, or as Lee puts it,

?If I give a great winning performance I could probably be the best fighter in Britain!?

A win would certainly make the likeable Selby a household name across the UK instead of just Wales.
