Lee Selby suffered the ultimate in disappointments recently.

The IBF world-featherweight title holder was set to defend his title at the MGM Grand Arena, in Las Vegas.

Appearing on the under-card of the re-match between Carl Frampton and Leo Santa Cruz, Selby was waiting to show-case his skills against Jonathan Barros.

However, Barras wasn?t granted a licence to fight and the bout was called off twenty-four hours before the event.

But Selby is set to make a return to the ring on 4th March against an as yet unnamed opponent.

The IBF have sanctioned the fight as a non-title fight with an IBF statement reading,

‘While the situation with Barros gets clarified the IBF has agreed to allow Selby to fight a non-title bout above the weight limit.?

We?ll keep a watchful eye out for details of his opponent and the venue and report back further.
