As Martin Murray prepares for his world title fight with Arthur Abraham this weekend, the subject of security has arisen.
The super-middleweight world title fight is scheduled to take place at the very arena that was evacuated the other night, the TUI Arena in Hannover.
It?d be a crying shame if the fight, one in which Murray believes he will achieve his dream of being a world title holder, was to fall victim to a security scare.
However, it appears that every step is being taken to ensure that the promotion goes ahead, there will be extra security put in place with stringent searches being undertaken on those entering the arena.
Speaking on behalf of the promoters of the show, Kalle Sauerland is quoted as having remarked,
?Extra security measures will be in place and we are in constant dialogue with authorities. The arena is set up for 7,000 and we expect a sell-out.?
The fight has the potential to be a cracker and is a very hard one to call, I get the impression the 7,000 inside the arena are in for a treat.
