The Manchester Arena will be awash with emotion this Saturday evening when Anthony Crolla makes a welcome return to the ring.

Crolla is back in the ring taking on the WBA lightweight champion Darley?s Perez.

It will be the second time the duo have crossed paths with Perez somehow hanging on to his title, first time around, courtesy of a draw.

That night, with the whole nation aware that Crolla, the boxer who came back from receiving a fractured skull trying to apprehend burglars, Crolla was, according to many, robbed of the win.

But, this time around, the 29-year-old has no doubts that the Manchester Arena will witness his fines hour with Anthony ?Million Dollar? Crolla remarking,

‘The old saying goes that ‘the first time you go in believing, the second time you go in knowing.

‘Last time out I was in with a world-class champion and I more than held my own. I believe I did enough to win the fight and proved I belong at that level.

‘Since the first fight I have developed as a boxer and a fighter and I have no doubts I’ll bring that world title home. I know I have all the answers.’

Perez, on the other hand, reckons he?s prepared for a war this time.

Did the Colombian take the challenge of Crolla too easily last time, or did Crolla perform to a level he knows he is going to have to exceed this Saturday night to achieve his life-long goal.

My verdict is that we?re in for a hell of a fight and Crolla, if he sticks to his fight-plan, might just get the verdict.

Fingers crossed everyone!
