The career of the first Northern Irishman to win world titles at two different weights, Carl Frampton, appears to be carefully mapped out.
After, on a wonderful night in July in Brooklyn New York, capturing the WBA world featherweight title in a tear-up with the previously unbeaten former champion Leo Santa Cruz, it was always very likely the two fighters would be involved in a second fight.
According to Frampton that second fight is now set to happen with a deal having been done, something Frampton told the world on his Twitter account.
Although no official confirmation has been forthcoming, it is understood that the fight will take place in Las Vegas.
As for a potential date, it is believed that it?ll happen sometime in late January 2017.
Following the re-match with Leo Santa Cruz, a fight we?re all hoping Frampton can win, there is talk of the Northern Ireland fighter mixing it up with the Welsh fight, Lee Selby, in a featherweight unification bout.
Exciting times ahead for The Jackal!
Santa Cruz First and then Selby After!
