After winning the IBF welterweight title, last weekend, in the early hours of Sunday morning UK time, Sheffield Kell Brook paraded his belt at a civic reception.
Welcomed by the Lord Mayor, Brook was the guest of honour at the Winter Garden where he signed autographs and posed for photographs.
Commenting on the wonderful welcome he received in his home city Brook remarked,
Brook said he was taken aback by the huge welcome in his home city.?
‘It doesn’t seem real, all this what’s happening.?
‘I just want to thank all the fans for turning out. I’m going to be giving back on December 6th by displaying my skills at the Sheffield Arena.’
