A couple of days ago we reported on how Eddie Hearn was looking for a new opponent for the WBA super-bantamweight champion Scott Quigg.

The necessity had arisen after the fighter scheduled to take on Quigg had pulled out with an injury.

Quigg will now make his fourth defence of his WBA crown against the Belgian, Stephane Jamoye in September.

For Jamoye it represents a second chance to land a world title after having lost, in a previous challenge, to the Japanese fighter Shinsuke Yamanaka for the WBC bantamweight title.

Now whether Jamoye will benefit from moving up a division for this chance remains to be seen.
