Tomorrow night, at the Manchester Arena, Scott Quigg defends his WBA world super-bantamweight title against a former champion in the shape of Kiko Martinez.

As we?ve pointed out before, Martinez is no stranger to these shores having twice ventured here to face Carl Frampton who now holds the IBF version of the same weight belt.

At the Cathedral Gardens, Manchester, this afternoon, the weigh-in took place.

Scott, making the fifth defence of his title scaled 8 stone 9 pounds and 12 ounces whilst the Spaniard, Martinez, weighed 8 stone 9 pounds and 10 ounces.

It promises to be an enthralling contest which we reckon Quigg will win by a late stoppage.
