As the banter relating to a huge all-British super-bantamweight clash between Frampton and Quigg escalates, Quigg has had his say.
The Bury fighter has some views as to why the match could be struggled to be made with Scott casting doubts on Barry McGuigan?s, Frampton?s manager, willingness to let his charge take the fight.
Talking to the media, Quigg has remarked,
?I want the fight, Carl wants the fight, Eddie wants the fight.?
?The only obstacle not making this fight possible is Barry?s ego. He thinks he runs the show but he doesn?t. That?s the only problem.?
Quigg is obviously concerned with McGuigan deciding that his man should get the higher rating and that the fight should be in Manchester as opposed to Belfast.
However, when pressed about when the fight might take place, the Bury fighter added,
?It won?t be next because apparently Carl?s got a bad hand so he can?t fight until next year. So I?m looking to get one more fight in this year. Hopefully next year it sets up a big fight with me and Carl.?
The public will demand it happens, therefore it must and will!
Quigg Rounds on McGuigan!
