In a highly competitive division, a division where Scott Quigg currently holds the WBA world super-bantamweight title, the Bury fighter has been given a new opponent for his next defence.

Quigg was scheduled to face Nehomar Cermeno at the Manchester Arena on 19th April. However, it appears that Cermeno has been forced to withdraw from the fight after encountering visa problems.

Quigg, with a record of 20-0-2, with 20 by way of knockout, will now take on the #10 WBA contender, Tshifhiwa Munyai, a fighter with a record that reads 24-2-1 with 12 by way of knockout.
