As 2015 slowly slips away and we enter 2016, we?re all awaiting the hugely anticipated super-bantamweight fight between Scott Quigg and Carl Frampton.

The domestic unification clash, taking place in Manchester, will see the two unbeaten fighters put their world titles and unbeaten records on the line.

However, Quigg, with a record that reads 31-0-2 with 23 of those wins by way of knockout, is looking to get the upper hand in the verbal stakes, by claiming that Frampton, with a record that reads 21-0 with 14 coming by way of the big knockout, made an error in going to the US for his last fight, a fight that saw Frampton hit the canvas twice in the first round.

Talking about Frampton, on Sky Sports, Quigg had this to say,

?He went over to America and thought he was going to crack America and say he had arrived but he came back with his tail between his legs.

?But I do think that will make him a better fighter because he got carried away with the hype and now he is going to go back to the drawing board.?

The Frampton camp, headed up by Barry McGuigan; reckon the Irish fighter went into the fight taking his opponent for granted but has a flaw been exposed in the IBF champions? make-up?
