Could a fight with Joshua be on the horizon?

With the heavyweight scene vibrant at the moment with Tyson Fury?s win in Dusseldorf, last Saturday, shaking up the old guard, another heavyweight who has ambitions of becoming a world title holder was in action last night.

In Hamburg, Kubrat Pulev, who had a record that read 21-1 with 12 wins coming by way of knockout, was in action against Maurice Harris.

Harris, described by many as nothing more than a journeyman, entered the ring with a record that read, ahead of the fight, 26-20-1 with 11 wins coming by way of knockout.

However, Pulev was to be far too good for Harris stopping his opponent in the first round with a body shot.

The outcome was no surprise when you consider that Harris had entered the ring having lost six of his last nine fights.

Quite what Pulev would have learned last night remains debatable but, somewhere down the line is their the possibility that Pulev might be matched with our very own Anthony Joshua in a world title eliminator?
