Yesterday, courtesy of a social network posting from Kubrat Pulev, it has been confirmed that Anthony Joshua will be making a mandatory defence of his IBF crown on October 28th.

Joshua, as expected, will be taking on the dangerous Kubrat Pulev who has only one defeat in his 26 professional contests, that defeat coming in 2015 against Wladimir Klitschko.

At 36-years-of-age Pulev brings experience to the ring and talking about his chance to become the IBF world heavyweight champion, Pulev has remarked,

‘My preparation is very intensive despite the little time left.

‘I will be perfectly ready when I enter the ring, so that he will not have any chance against me.

‘Anthony Joshua is a great and dangerous rival. But his style fits perfectly on mine.’

He?s obviously a confident lad and it could be a cracking fight at the Principality Stadium, in Cardiff.
