Returning to the debatable stoppage, in Manchester, on Saturday night, opinion from most boxing pundits, apart form those associated with the Froch camp, was that Groves was hard done by.

Several suggested that with two world title belts at stake and considering the magnitude of the fight, allied with the fact that groves was well ahead, Groves should have been allowed to continue.

However, Prince Naseem Hamed is one pundit that disagrees.

The former world champion, when pressed on the decision, remarked,

?When a man turns around and is going in the opposite direction because he doesn?t know where he is going, then a fight should be stopped and I am glad that it was.?

An interesting comment from a fighter who, often, when he fought employed a style that when he missed with an extravagant shot found himself totally at odds with his opponent and often facing the wrong way!
