The Liverpool heavyweight David Price continued on the comeback trail in Berlin last night.

Price who has won three in a row, under the guidance of the Sauerland Brothers since those two devastating knockouts inflicted by Tony Thompson, was fighting the Brazilian Irineu Beato Costa Junior.

The Brazilian, looking flabby, was stopped by Price in the 6th round having been floored three times with his corner saving him from further punishment by throwing in the towel.

However, Price did nothing to suggest he is world class, often looking reluctant to get in close and always content to box at distance.

Ranked #12 by the WBO, Price didn?t impress the watching Eddie Hearn with the Matchroom promoter suggesting Price has regressed and that his own heavyweight hope, Anthony Joshua, would have stopped the Brazilian in the first round.

Hearn went on to suggest that Joshua would be ready to meet Price later this year. As for Price he mentioned going after Joshua and Tyson Fury and had this to say,

?I?ve lost twice, and I?ve got nothing to lose. A man who has nothing to lose is a dangerous man.?

I?d suggest otherwise, Price has lost twice and if he were to lose again it would, I feel, a career ending blow.

Living on borrowed time springs to mind!
