The continued emergence of Anthony Joshua as a potential future heavyweight champion of the world, continues to see other heavyweights call him out.

Joshua, on the back of 13 knockout wins in his first 13 fights, has already been targeted by Dillian Whyte and now another British heavyweight, David Price, wants a big-fight with the Watford heavyweight.

Price, re-establishing himself as a heavyweight contender after suffering two knockout defeats against the American fighter Tony Thompson, wants a showdown with Joshua with the Liverpool fighter, with a record of 19-2 with 16 coming by way of knockout, has remarked about Joshua,

?We?re ready to make that fight whenever.

?If you look at this logically, it suits me better to fight Joshua now. He?s only had 13 fights and he hasn?t gone past three rounds, so I?ve got the experience in my favor. But I would be willing to fight him any time.?

It would be a good test for both fighters. Joshua has yet to be seriously tested and we need to know whether Price has gotten over his fragile chin stage.

However, Price doesn?t want to be just another stooge for Joshua, he wants equal billing, adding,

?It?s a fight I want to sit down and talk over but it has to be a 50-50 fight.

?I am not getting ?brought in? like a Kevin Johnson type of fighter.?

Will the fight be made or will the two go down differing paths?
