The next huge Boxing promotion this country will provide will see Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker go head-to-head in a heavyweight unification bout at the Principality Stadium, in Cardiff.
However, with the undercard being put together, to make it another memorable night in British boxing, another intriguing fight, at heavyweight, is set to feature.
The British heavyweight, David Price, who has won 22 of his 26 fights, is set to take on the world-ranked contender Alexander Povetkin.
Povetkin is a classy operator who has lost just once in his professional career, in 34 fights, when he was beaten by Wladimir Klitschko back in 2013.
Price, when offered the fight, had this to say to the media,
‘This could be a turning point and I jumped at the chance.
‘Yesterday after I received the call I said I’d be back in touch with them today and I have accepted the fight.?
For Price, a win against Povetkin could catapult the Liverpool fighter back into the big time, we wish him well.
