Having been beaten in his last two fights by the 41 year-old American, Tony Thompson, the British heavyweight, David Price, has decided that a change is required.

Price, now with a record that reads 15wins and two defeats has decided to part company with his long-time trainer Franny Smith.

The Liverpool heavyweight has yet to find a new trainer but remarking about the split is quoted as having remarked to the media,

?For me to achieve my goal as heavyweight champion of the word, I feel that I need to change, we?ve agreed this is the best way forward. I am in no rush to appoint another trainer and I am open to discussions.

Price still has time on his side but is appointing a new trainer really the answer?

Does Price hope that being schooled in a different manner may hide the fact that he is now perceived as being very beatable with some sneering he has a glass chin?

I?d be interested in your comments.
