Since seeing his career come off the rails, after those two knockout defeats inflicted by Tony Thompson, David Price has been quietly rebuilding his career.

The Liverpool fighter, just like George Groves, is hooked up with the Sauerland group, is expected to fight again in early December, against an as yet unknown opponent and also in an unknown country.

However, Price is looking towards 2015 and would welcome a big domestic punch-up against whoever wins the Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury fight at the Excel Arena, in London, on 29th November

Talking about the prospect, Price has had this to say,

‘It’s definitely a fight that I want.?

‘I’m hoping for a big domestic fight against Tyson Fury.’

?The fact is, whoever wins that fight is going to have to wait a while for a shot at Klitschko. But would they take a chance of fighting someone like me in between? We’ll soon find out.’

However, it wasn?t that long ago that Price was talking of a showdown with the up and coming heavyweight prospect, Anthony Joshua, a fight the Liverpudlian has also recently commented on, remarking,

‘If Eddie Hearn and Matchroom want to stick to their guns by saying they want me to fight Anthony Joshua, then that’s a very interesting fight as well.?

‘But in a nutshell, I think I’m a couple of fights away from a big domestic one. That’s where I’ll come back and prove every doubter wrong.’

That, as they say, remains to be seen!
