Who?ll be his warm-up opponent?

Trying to rebuild a somewhat shattered career after suffering consecutive defeats to Tony Thompson, the Liverpool heavyweight, David Price, has lined up a tasty fight against a revitalised Dereck Chisora in early 2014.

However, with a fight against the EBU champion secured and seen as a way to put Price?s name back on the heavyweight map, Price is looking for a warm-up fight ahead of the bout, presumably to get himself back into the groove.

No opponent has been named yet but we?d imagine the matchmaking will have to be carefully done with an opponent being durable, to give Price some much needed rounds in the ring, whilst also not possessing a big punch.

It?ll be interesting to see who they match Price, with a record of 15-2 with 13 by way of knockout, ahead of a title battle with Chisora who has a record of 18-4 with 12 by way of knockout.

It promises, I think, to be an interesting few months on the heavyweight scene.
