The Liverpool homecoming for David Price has been put on hold.

Price was scheduled to fight on the huge bill being put together at the Liverpool Echo Arena on June 26th.

The heavyweight would have been making his first appearance, in the ring, in the United Kingdom since being stopped twice by the American heavyweight Tony Thompson.

Sadly, a neck injury has forced price to pull out of the show as the muscular problem he has picked up will stop him from sparring for two weeks.

It is expected that the show, also featuring Tony Bellew, Rocky Fielding and Callum Smith, will go ahead as scheduled.

Hopefully, fight will return to a UK ring soon to continue a career that is being put back on track by the Sauerland team.
