After suffering two devastating defeats to the American heavyweight, Tony Thompson, David Price is looking to get back on the comeback trail.

The Liverpool fighter, with a record of 15 wins and 2 defeats with 13 knockouts to his name, is talking about making a comeback in style by either taking on the winner of the upcoming David Haye v Tyson Fury fight or making a really bold statement by taking on the big-hitting, highly rated unbeaten American Deontay Wilder.

Talking about meeting America?s next great heavyweight hope, Price is quoted as having remarked,

?In a heartbeat, I?d fight Deontay Wilder. I know he?s a ferocious puncher, but so am I. I?m a big puncher, and I?d definitely fight Deontay Wilder.?

One can only wonder if such a fight would be a do-or-die fight. A victory would resurrect a career that is heading downwards but a third defeat would surely give Price a huge mountain to climb if he is serious about making it big in this game.
