Is it a match made in heaven?

With his comeback somewhat stalled after an injury prevented him from making his long awaited comeback, on 14thDecember, David Price then found himself on the lookout for a new trainer after splitting with Adam Booth, without actually undertaking a fight whilst the two were together.

However, it appears that Price has now found a new trainer to take him forwards and it is a trainer with some pedigree.

Price has announced that he has hooked up with Tommy Brooks a trainer who has worked with the best out there, most notably Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Vitali and Wladimir Klitshko.

Talking about the liaison, Brooks is quoted as having remarked,

‘I have been waiting for the phone to ring to work with a fighter who can make it to the top.’

The heavyweight division is becoming very exciting again with a fresh young crop of talent coming through and Britain has some of the best prospects, but David has all the attributes needed to dominate the division.’

It is certainly a link-up that has me excited and I can?t wait until Price steps back into the ring again, although the exact date of his ring return has still to be confirmed.
