On the comeback trail, after those two devastating losses to the American Tony Thompson, Liverpool?s David Price got a much needed win over in Denmark last night.

Fighting at the Blue Water Dokken, in Esbjerg, Price stopped the capable Onfrej Pala, in the THIRD round of their fight. However, the fight did nothing to ease those fears implanted by Tony Thompson with Price hitting the canvas in the first round after being caught with a left hook to the side of his head by his opponent.

But all credit to Price for getting to his feet and in the third round Price landed a couple of decent right hands to send Pala crashing to the deck. Pala beat the count but shortly afterwards visited the canvas again and the referee, Freddy Rafn, halted the fight.

Price will be glad to get back to winning ways but that first round knockdown and the subsequent unsteady period until he regained his senses, won?t have done much for his profile.
