Over in Stuttgart last night (Saturday) David Price got back to winning ways.

Price, trying to resurrect his career after two defeats at the hands of the American, Tony Thompson, was up against the Hungarian heavyweight Istvan Ruzinszky who was promoted from the undercard after Price?s original opponent had failed a medical.

The Liverpool heavyweight wasted no time in getting rid of his opponent by knocking him out in the 1st round. Taking the fight to his opponent, Price hit Ruzsinszky with a solid right and a second punch put the Hungarian on the deck.

With two minutes of the first round gone the referee stopped the fight which, to most looked like a mis-match.

Afterwards, aware that the fight had hardly tested him, Price remarked to the media,

?I didn?t get that much time to show what I had but I can only beat what was put in front of me.?

?But that?s what I?ve got to do to an opponent like that ? get him out of there early and move on.?

Following on from hardly breaking out in a sweat, we expect Price to be back in the ring very shortly.
