With world title action forthcoming again this weekend with Tony Bellew defending his world cruiserweight title against BJ Flores, David Price was looking to continue on the comeback trail.
Price, making his way through the heavyweight rankings again was set to take on Dave Allen in what many perceived as an interesting fight.
Sadly, the fight has been called off with 33-year-old Price having to pull out of the fight due to illness.
Talking to the media, Eddie Hearn broke the news that the Price fight was off, remarking,
?One news I must give is David Price has come down with a virus over the weekend and won?t be on the bill, which is unfortunate for him as he continues his progression.?
Hopefully the virus won?t side-line Price for too long and we will see the Liverpool heavyweight back in the ring shortly.
