Following the announcement that David Price will be making his long-awaited ring comeback on a promotion in Germany, we now have a little more information for you.

Price will be on the support bill for the WBA light-heavyweight fight between Juergen Brahmer and Marcus Oliveira, on December 14th.

His opponent, Evgeny Orlov, a Russian, is thirty-five years of age and is touted as being a tough journeyman style fighter who has, in his younger days, been known to bang a bit.

Naturally Price is looking forward to getting back into the ring to try and vanquish those two defeats inflicted by Tony Thompson, talking about the fight Price has remarked to the media

?My opponent is tough so I am not taking anything for granted.?

?I have seen him in training and in fights so I know what I have to do to beat him.?

?I can?t wait to get back in the ring.?

Looking ahead to the fight, here at Vital Boxing, we?ll admit to being a little nervous about those opening rounds. Having suffered two stoppage defeats to Thompson and having switched training camps, it?ll be interesting to see if there are any changes in Price?s style.
