Tonight we were expecting some world title heavyweight action to grace our scenes.
Being broadcast from Ekaterinburg, Russia, was a fight for the interim WBC heavyweight title.
The bout was set to feature the former WBA heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin, who has a record that reads 30-1 with 22 wins coming by way of knockout, and Bermane Stiverne, who has a record that reads 25-2-1 with 21 wins coming via stoppage.
However, it seems that the fight is now in jeopardy.
Reports are breaking that Povetkin has, ahead of the fight, failed a drugs test and as a result the WBA have withdrawn their sanctioning of the fight.
For Povetkin this could be the end of the road with the 37-year-old fighter now having two failed drug tests on his record.
The winner of the proposed bout was due to fight Deontay Wilder for his WBC belt.
Now we?re not even sure if there will be a fight tonight, such is the chaos that currently reigns.
