Following the unanimous points win over Wladimir Klitschko, in Dusseldorf, it was revealed that there was a clause in the fight contract entitling the deposed champion to a re-match.

When asked, in the aftermath of the fight whether he?d be prepared to take on Wladimir again, Tyson Fury suggested that he?d have no problem taking him on again and beating him in his adopted backyard again.

However, it now seems that the venue for the fight might be a lot closer to home with Tyson?s trainer, Peter Fury, remarking to the media this morning,

‘Wladimir has got until the end of January to decide if he wants a rematch. We’re looking possibly at Wembley, maybe around the end of May.’

Now that would be an event and a half, 80,000 crammed into the famous venue to cheer on a new British hero.

Let?s hope it happens and we?re not all forced to traipse to Germany for a second time.
