I?m probably not alone when I suggest that somebody is extracting the urine when it comes to making the forthcoming promotion, headlined by the Whyte v Joshua fight, a pay-per-view event.
Okay, I know that it is an eagerly awaited match-up and one that, some people, reckon could see either fighter lose their unbeaten record but, really, a pay-per-view event?
It?s hard enough making what expendable cash we all have last without having to, not only, pay a subscription to have the likes of Sky Sport or BT Sport but to then also have to cough up another fee to watch the sport we love.
It?d be somewhat understandable if the promotion had an under-card that was, how you might say, packed with enticing fights, but it hasn?t, it?s a show that should be kept on, for use of a better word, normal television.
But, the crux of the matter is that whoever decided it should be pay-per-view knows that the vast majority waiting for the Dillian Whyte v Joshua Anthony showdown will cough up the extra bucks.
I wonder how these people sleep at night!
Pay-Per-View! You Cannot Be Serious!
