This Saturday, in Auckland New Zealand, a very interesting heavyweight fight takes place.

It matches Joseph Parker against Andy Ruiz Jnr for the vacant WBO heavyweight title.

With the WBO belt being vacated by Tyson Fury, the governing body has matched two unbeaten fighters in a bout that could go either way.

Parker, with a record that reads 21-0 with 18 wins coming by way of knockout, has home advantage over Ruiz Jnr, who has a record that reads 29-0 with 19 wins coming by way of knockout.

At the weigh in ahead of the fight, Parker took to the scales at 246.7 lbs whilst Ruiz Jnr was the heavier at 255.7 lbs.

Boxing fans, in the UK, will be keeping a close eye on this fight knowing that the winner could be facing our own Anthony Joshua in a unification fight somewhere down the line.

Here at Vital Boxing we?re predicting a close fight but one that Parker will shade.

But how do you predict this one ending?
