Over in New Zealand, in Christchurch, on Thursday evening, Joseph Parker maintained his position as the #1 IBF heavyweight contender registering another stoppage.
Parker, defending an unbeaten record, took on the heavy punching #11 ranked WBA heavyweight Solomon Haumono.
Haumono took to the ring with a record that read 24-3-1 and having 21 wins by knockout to his name.
However, he wasn?t in the same league as Parker and was duly stopped in the 4th round.
Parker, an emerging star of the heavyweight division, took his record to 20-0 with 17 of those wins coming by knockout.
Plans will now be made for Parker to meet the current IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
Now whether, what will be termed a mandatory defence, that bout will take place late this year or early next year remains to be seen.
But the suggestion is there this fight could be the biggest test that Joshua will have had so far in his career.
