Following on from his first round demolition of his opponent in Hull on Saturday night, the supposedly durable Brazilian, Irineu Beato Costa Junior, the British public is very aware of Dillian Whyte now.
The big-punching heavyweight is scheduled to take on another unbeaten heavyweight later this year if both big-punchers come through fights scheduled for September 12th.
But Whyte doesn?t want some in front of him who will roll over on September 12, he wants someone who is a danger, with Dillian telling the media,
?I have heavy hands and I hit hard.
?I wasn?t trying to make a statement [against Costa Junior]. I was just going out there and trying to get another win. I definitely need to step it up a class now. I?m going to have a meeting with Eddie Hearn about who they?re thinking. If we?re not happy, we?re going to try and get somebody else. I definitely want a good opponent because I got a hard fight against Joshua come December. When I?m on form and relaxed, I can knockout any man real fast.?
But if Eddie Hearn and his team are guiding the big-hitting Whyte towards a huge domestic tear-up against Anthony Joshua, I wonder how nervous Eddie Hearn will be about seeing somebody Matchroom have touted as being ready to become the best in the world upset by somebody who will always be just the one-punch away from upsetting the apple-cart big time?
