On the under-card of the super-lightweight fight between Ricky Burns and Julius Indongo, Lawrence Okolie was having his second bout since turning professional.
Okolie, boxing at cruiserweight, had destroyed his first professional opponent, Geoffrey Cave, in just twenty seconds.
Last night, at the Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Okolie was matched with the Polish fighter, Lukasz Rusiewicz, once again the fight was to end in the first round.
However, Lukasz Rusiewicz lasted longer than Cave, although not much longer with Okolie getting the job finished with just twenty-four seconds of the round remaining.
Okolie has certainly made a decent start to his professional career and although it is too early to say whether he?ll go all the way it?ll certainly be interesting reporting on his progress.
