Having undergone an operation on both his Achilles tendons, Anthony Ogogo has entered a rehabilitation process.

However, the 2012 Olympic medallist is looking to get back into action before the end of the year and is looking to take a middleweight title fight.

The 25 year-old who has started his professional career with seven wins in seven fights, is looking to start at the bottom of the belt ladder by fighting for the English middleweight title.

Discussing his return, Ogogo has commented to the media,

‘If I can be back in December, that would be brilliant but if not, January or February at the very latest.’

?I’ll definitely be looking for a first title, maybe even in my first fight. I’m ready to win the English title.’

It?s something we?d find hard to disagree with and if the operation has improved his mobility the he?ll be an all-round better fighter.
