Back on the comeback trail after an operation on his feet, Anthony Ogogo has, unfortunately, suffered a setback.

The Lowestoft fighter, who boxes under the guidance of Oscar De La Hoya, has been forced to abandon his immediate comeback plans to undergo a further operation to remove some infected tissue from the area previously operated on.

Ogogo, unbeaten since turning professional, is naturally disappointed to see his career put on hold and has remarked to the press,

?The first operation didn?t really work.

?I was doing al the rehab meticulously but it was actually getting worse and worse.?

?I had to have another operation at the beginning of January.

?All the infected tissue from around the Achilles was scraped away. I had two or three things going on as well.?

?I?m back to where I was a few months ago, yet this time they?re adamant the procedure will work. When I do get back there will be no stopping me.?

Our best wishes, for a speedy recovery, go to Anthony.
