At the O2 Arena in London last night the light-welterweight division played a significant part on the undercard.
Up for grabs was the English light-welterweight belt with Tyler Goodjohn taking on Ricky Boylan.
In a fascinating encounter the first half of the fight saw the pair evenly matched but as the fight entered the home-straight is was Goodjohn who pulled cleared on points to take a majority decision.
After the fight the suggestion was that the two had done enough to meet again, however there is atria of thought that infers Goodjohn may well be matched against the unbeaten Tommy ?Gun? Martin who also fought at the O2 Arena last night with Martin stopping Matty Tew in the 7th round.
If that fight is made it could be an interesting match-up.
