News has just broken that the Liverpool fighter, Tony Bellew, will be taking on Adonis Stevenson for the WBC light-heavyweight title on 30th November.

Bellew will though have to take on the current champion in Quebec City something that might perhaps have not been in his plans.

Recent action, involving Bellew, has seen the Brit have two fights with Isaac Chilemba, the first ended in a draw but Bellew took the verdict in their second clash.

Stevenson though represents a formidable challenge; the current champion has only been beaten once in his 23 fights, with 19 coming by way of a knockout, and took the title in spectacular fashion when he knocked out Chad Dawson in June. Recently he successfully defended it with a seventh round stoppage of Tavoris Cloud, back in September.

Can the English underdog pull off a shock in Quebec, I guess we?ll all have to wait and see.
