Martin Murray was set to box Arthur Abraham for a second time on the November 12th promotion at the Salle des Etoiles, Monte Carlo.
However, the fight had to be called off after the German based fighter picked up an injury in training.
Once the news was released we questioned whether Murray would still fight on the promotion or miss out.
It now seems that Murray will be fighting on the bill as a replacement opponent has been sourced.
Murray, who is ranked #13 by the WBC and who has a record that reads 33-4-1 with 16 wins coming by knockout, will be taking on Dmitry Chudinov, who has a record that reads 19-1-2 with 12 wins coming by way of stoppage
The bout should tell us, after Murray lost to George Groves, whether the super-middleweight still has enough about him to push on for another title, somewhere down the line, at a world title.
