The recent announcement that Martin Murray had decided to move up to super-middleweight, following his stoppage loss to Gennady Golovkin whilst also deciding to join Matchroom, will surely get the popular fighter a fourth world title fight.

Having gone close on the three previous occasions, Murray will be hoping that the Matchroom team will be able to keep him active and steer him towards that world title chance.

Murray, so we?re told by Matchroom, will be making his debut for his new promotional team on a show in Liverpool on June 26, just over two weeks away.

At the moment no opponent has been named but with regards to the future don?t be surprised if Matchroom are looking at an all-British world title fight against the IBF champion James DeGale.

Mind you, if I?m being honest, I?d be far happier to see DeGale face Murray than be involved in the circus that wants Bernard Hopkins to have one last fight, against DeGale.
