Here at Vital Boxing we?re sad to report that Tommy Morrison has passed away at the young age of forty-four.

Morrison, a former WBO heavyweight champion of the world, passed away on Sunday evening.

Morrison had a record of 48-3-1 with 42 via way of knockout. On his record he has the scalps of:-

? George Foreman

Donavan Ruddock

Carl Williams

Joe Hipp

James Tillis and

Pinklon Thomas

Morrison built his career on possessing a huge left hook and were it not for the presence of a certain Lennox Lewis during his era, many feel that Morrison would have gone on to achieve legendary status.

The official cause of his death has yet to be released but the world of Boxing will be mourning his loss.
