The last time West Ham supporting Kevin Mitchell fought at Upton Park it was an absolute disaster.

Back in 2010 Mitchell took on the Australian Michael Katsidis for the WBO crown and was blown away by the big-punching Australian.

However, on the back of his stunning win over the Mexican Estrada at the weekend, Mitchell wants to exercise those demons by taking on the current WBC champion, Jorge Linares.

Mitchell seems revitalised at the moment and has overcome the demons that have affected him in the past.

Talking about redeeming himself, the 30 year-old has remarked,

?My demons back then were the booze and the lifestyle. I had a lot going on in my personal life.

?Now it is time to shine. Let?s do it at West Ham, go full circle. The fans will turn out for that.?

I reckon they would and it would be a perfect arena for Mitchell to make it third time lucky and finally get a world title belt around his waist.
