Kevin Mitchell takes another step towards a world title fight tonight when he boxes at the ExCel Arena in London.

Mitchell will be defending his IBF Inter-Continental lightweight belt against a replacement opponent.

The East End fighter had been scheduled to take on Brunet Zamora but his selected opponent couldn?t, so we?re told, make the trip to London.

Therefore, Mitchell will now take on Karim El Ouazghari, a fighter probably a class below Mitchell.

Mitchell enters the ring with a record of 35-2, with 25 coming by way of knockout, whilst El Ouazghari arrives with a record of 15-3-2 with only 4 of his wins coming by way of knockout.

Sat in the editorial chair, I?m taking Mitchell to win this by a stoppage, quite possibly somewhere around rounds 4 to 6.
