Fighting on the under-card at the Brooklyn Centre, in New York, last night was a heavyweight who has aspirations of fighting Anthony Joshua.

Jarrell ?Big Baby? Miller, a native of Brooklyn, was matched against Gerald Washington in a heavyweight fight.

Washington, you may recall, is a former challenger for Deontay Wilder?s WBC heavyweight title.

Ahead of the fight Miller has proclaimed that he would stop Washington and the 29-year-old was true to his word.

Often crude at time, Miller stopped Washington in the eighth round after he, to put it simply, ground Washington down.

The win takes Miller?s record to 19-0-1 and closer to a shot at a heavyweight title, however with Joshua set to take on Wladimir Klitschko in a re-match and then fulfil his mandatory obligations, a more viable route might see Miller mix it with Wilder.
