If Floyd Mayweather Junior and Manny Pacquiao are to meet on 2nd May in what could well turn out to be the biggest fight in Boxing history then I?d suggest they get that contract signed or else 2nd May will come and go before we know it.

The latest news coming our way infers that a deal is almost done and that Pacquiao is happy to take 40% of the purse with Mayweather getting the larger share of 60%.

We?re also hearing that Pacquiao has penned his half of the contract and that the problem relating to television coverage involving HBO and Showtime has now almost been resolved.

As for the financial status of the fight, it seems that a figure of £160 million is being bandied about, making it the biggest revenue fight ever, eclipsing the £100 million the fight between Mayweather and Canelo generated.

Get it signed and bring it on is all I say.
