With it being officially announced that Ricky Burns will return to the ring, as a light-welterweight, on October 4th, the under-card also has some fine looking fights.
We understand that Josh Warrington (a local favourite) will be taking on Davide Diele for the vacant European featherweight crown.
Also on the bill will be our former light-middleweight challenger Brain Rose, he will be facing Juan Manuael Bonanni.
Liverpool?s unbeaten Callum Smith will make a defence of his WBC international title whilst a fight for the vacant Commonwealth light-welterweight title will see Tyrone Nurse and Dave Ryan go head-to-head.
It promises to be an entertaining night and one I shall be looking forward to.
